From Fiumicino Airport: city train leading to Monterotondo in about an hour, every 15 minutes.
From Termini Station: take the Metro line B to Tiburtina (4 stops direction Rebibbia); then another train or bus that will lead to Monterotondo in 20 minutes. A dense network of public transport links connecting Monterotondo to Rome and to closer population centers. Fr1 train line direct to Fiumicino with a 20-minute stops in major stations in central Rome as Tiburtina, Tuscolana and Ostiense, where they can make their connections to Metro A and B (to reach the Colosseum, San Pietro, etc.), the regional lines Fr2 (Tiburtina / Length), FR3 (Aurelia / Trionfale / Cassia), Fr7-8 (Ciampino / Pontina / Pomezia) and urban lines today called “metro area“, such as Rome–Pantano (Casilina), Roma Nord (Flaminia) and Roma–Ostia (Colombo). The train stop is located in Monterotondo Scalo and is served by local bus a few stops into the center of the country. The manager of B&B Villa Forever is always available to meet you at the station when you arrive and take you to the villa.
From Rome Tiburtina station: Monterotondo is also accessible through the lines Co.Tra.L the public transport service in the region Lazio. From the Tiburtina station in Rome you can take two buses towards Monterotondo, one in direction Nomentana (connecting also other locations as Mentana and Source New to the city) and one in the direction of Salaria.
By car:
from Rome Highway 4 Via Salaria: follow Via Salaria and after the suburban stretch go straight until the 2nd traffic light, then turn right (via Nomentana) following the direction Monterotondo center / Mentana. After about 2 km, at the end of the climb, and a series of bends, the road becomes flat (Via Gramsci). Pay attention and on the left is placed Via Ischia (see map). Continue to number 25 where you will find a gray gate opened on a closed road and the cars parked on the left side; reach the gate: from there you can already park. Then take the first road on the right and you’ve arrived at your destination.
Motorway link road Rome/Florence: near the Fiano Romano exit Castelnuovo di Porto. Continue towards Monterotondo for 3km, go straight until you cross the Via Salaria, cross the roundabout and after the railway bridge turn right in via Nilde Lotti. At the end of the road, after crossing a roundabout, you will see in front of you (ie on the opposite side of the road) Pharmacy Turati, turn left on Via Filippo Turati and follow it for about 1 km and a half. Go straight uphill to Via Gramsci and turn left on Via Ischia. Continue to number 25 where you will find a gray gate opened on a closed road and the cars parked on the left side; reach the gate: from there you can already park. Then take the first road on the right and you’ve arrived at your destination.
